BBC2 bags O’Briain for ‘life-changing’ chatshow

The BBC is continuing its search to find the next big chatshow host by signing up comedian and Mock the Week talent Dara O’Briain for a twist on the traditional format titled Turn Back Time.

The satirist, who made his name as a stand-up and on panel shows such as Have I Got New For You, will look at the lives of celebrities and television stars using stills and archive footage to investigate what they would change about their lives if they could turn back time.

Currently being recorded at Granada Studios in Manchester, O’Briain has lined up guests such as Terry Jones, Dame Edna Everage, Vic Reeves and Johnny Vegas.

Turn Back Time is a Hat Trick North production for BBC2. Victoria Payne is the series producer, Leon Wilson is the producer and Rebecca Papworth is the executive producer.
