Love Actually and My Family star Kris Marshall will join a cast of 20 to perform Meredith Oakes’ new adaptation of The Revenger’s Tragedy by Thomas Middleton at the Southwark Playhouse.

Opening on March 10, with previews from March 7, the production is directed by Gavin McAlinden, whose previous work includes Gates of Gold and The Gigli Concert at the Finborough Theatre.

Marshall, who was most recently seen on stage in the Almeida’s recent staging of Moliere’s The Hypochondriac, will play Vindici in the Southwark production. He commented: “It’s a bloody good part, in a bloody good play, at a bloody good fringe theatre.”
