Much Ado stars help raise thousands at Crucible gala

Cast members from Sheffield Theatres’ production of Much Ado About Nothing joined commercial director Christine Leach to help raise £7,500 for the Crucible Theatre’s proposed £15 million redevelopment.

The gala evening involved an auction of items such as the original leg brace worn by Kenneth Branagh in Richard III and a special package giving the highest bidder access to rehearsals and tickets to the press night for Sheffield Theatres’ Christmas musical, Promises, Promises.
