Hampstead Theatre’s production of Di and Viv and Rose will return to the venue next year, with Tamzin Outhwaite, Gina McKee and Anna Maxwell Martin reprising their original roles.
This marks the first time a production originally staged in the Hampstead Downstairs space has been transferred to the venue’s main stage.
Amelia Bullmore’s play will again be directed by Anna Mackmin.
Design is by Paul Wills with lighting by Jason Taylor, sound design by Simon Baker, choreography by Scarlett Mackmin and music is composed by Paul Englishby
The production will run from January 17 to February 23, 2013, with press night on January 23.
Also featuring in the main stage’s spring programme is the world premiere of William Boyd’s play Longing, which is based on two short stories by Anton Chekhov.
Directed by Nina Raine, the show will run from February 28 to April 13, 2013, with press night on March 7.
Design is by Lizzie Clachan, with lighting by James Farncombe and sound by Gareth Fry.
Casting has yet to be announced.
