Dutch theatre producer Robin de Levita has joined forces with Kees Abrahams, one of the founders of TV production company 2waytraffic, to launch Imagine Nation.

Imagine Nation is described by the pair as a “new global media content company” that will focus on live entertainment, film and television.

It will have offices in London, New York and Amsterdam.

De Levita will be chief creative officer, and Abrahams, who was until recently president of international TV production at Sony Pictures Television, will be chief executive officer.

Abrahams said: “In an increasingly complex entertainment industry it is becoming ever more challenging for great ideas to break through on the international stage. Robin and I have created a dynamic and digitally-enabled media business which will work with IP and content partners across the world to help drive the global success of content with high growth potential.”

As a theatre producer, de Levita’s credits include Tommy in the West End.
