All-male Shakespeare theatre company Propeller has launched an online resource that hosts behind-the-scenes information from its productions.
The site, propeller.org.uk/play, which is found within the theatre company’s main website, has sections dedicated to acting, directing, music, sound and lighting, costume, design and production, plus an out-takes area.
Included across these areas are photos, profiles, videos, sound clips and historical information, which have been designed to help people understand theatre production.
The website will focus on different Propeller productions as they begin their run.
The first production to feature is Propeller’s tour of 60-minute show Pocket Henry V, which is an adaptation of the theatre company’s production of Henry V by artistic director Edward Hall.
Pocket Henry V has recently begun its tour to schools and theatres including Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells, the Marlowe Studio in Canterbury, Farnham Maltings, Chipping Norton Theatre, The Point in Eastleigh, Brighton Dome and Festival and the Vitoria International Theatre Festival in Spain.
