NT cancels two performances of Curious Incident following actor injury

The National Theatre has cancelled two performances of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, after its lead actor suffered an injury.

A spokeswoman for the theatre said Luke Treadaway had injured his knee, and the evening performances on both Saturday and Monday had been cancelled to “give him a sustained three day period of rest”.

Saturday’s matinee will go ahead as planned, but after that the next performance of the show will be on September 4.

The spokeswoman apologised for the disappointment caused to audiences hoping to see the show on Saturday night and Monday.

She said those who had booked tickets had been refunded.
