New plays from writers Rona Munro and Steve Waters plus a performance by Pentabus Theatre will feature during the autumn season in Hampstead Theatre’s Downstairs space.
The Hampstead Theatre’s Michael Frayn Space, which is used for the Hampstead Downstairs programme, will open with Donny’s Brain, written by Munro.
The play is directed by Anna Ledwich, whose previous credits include an adaptation of Lulu, and will run from September 22 to October 20.
Pentabus Theatre’s thriller Blue Sky, which forms part of the theatre company’s Radical Rural season, will run from October 24 to November 10, with press night on October 25. It is written by Clare Bayley and directed by Elizabeth Freestone.
Ignorance, written by Waters and directed by Nathan Curry, will close the season and runs from November 15 to December 15.
