Goodnight Mister Tom to transfer to Phoenix

Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of Goodnight Mister Tom will be the first show to play at the West End’s Phoenix Theatre after long-running musical Blood Brothers departs.

The new stage version of Michelle Magorian’s novel is adapted for the stage by David Wood. It will run at the Phoenix from November 22 to January 26, 2013, before embarking on a nine-week UK Tour. Oliver Ford Davies will reprise his role as Mister Tom.

The production is directed by Angus Jackson, who is an associate director at Chichester Festival Theatre.

The West End run of Goodnight Mister Tom is produced by Fiery Angel, the Ambassador Theatre Group, Fiery Dragons and the Children’s Touring Partnership.
