Producers of End of the Rainbow, the play about Judy Garland starring Tracie Bennett, have announced the show will close on Broadway this month.
The production, which ran in the West End before transferring to Broadway, began performances on March 19 at the Belasco Theatre in New York.
Last month, producers said they were extending the show’s run to January 2013.
However they have now said the production will close on August 19.
Despite this, there are plans for a production of the show in Los Angeles, as well as a US tour.
