Review: Rightfully, Bath's exuberant family theatre, The Egg, has built up a fine reputation for its Christmas show, couched, as ever, in the collective creative hands of Lee Lyford (director), Hayley Grindle (designer), Hattie Naylor (writer) and Paul Dodgson (music and lyrics). While previous hits have adapted the familiar (The Nutcracker, Around the World in Eighty Days, Alice Through the Looking Glass) this year's musical offering - which borrows widely from Scooby Doo, 'Allo 'Allo and the cinematic flourishes of Jean-Pierre Jeunet - is making its global debut...
