Aladdin author and director Darren Maddison should be congratulated for crafting such a strong book with Daniel Woodhouse, and while there are a few technical demons yet to be exorcised, this year's production at the Thameside is a great success. The company is lively and enthusiastic, backed by graduates from the Performers College and headed by this year's star turn, Dean Gaffney, in fine fettle as a fun, feckless Wishee Washee...
