While there is no explicit mention of the 'C' word, a winning combination of a young girl's adventure to the Arctic, a snowball fight with audience participation, and - briefly - a real Siberian husky dog musters up plenty of festive magic, even in October. An upbeat opening number introduces the kind of enthusiastically fraught middle-class family most of the audience will be familiar with, at the heart of which is Evie, played with natural exuberance by Charlotte Chin. She loves her grandfather's tales of travelling the world and when he passes away, finds herself retracing his footsteps with the help of a 'snow dog' - a physically dexterous Craig Gordon...
