This Cinderella is the traditional story that we all know, but the telling of it is not. Cinderella is the dogsbody on the floating retirement home for magicians that she runs in memory of her mum. Dad brings home a new woman (and her two recalcitrant daughters), and the neighbouring Queen hunts for a future daughter-in-law. Yes, the ingredients are all here, but this has the appearance of a Christmas show on a budget...
