This was never going to be an easy task and Ed DuRante's mix of rap-lyrics and colloquialism coupled with Fred Carl's contemporary score at least pull the characters into focus but lack any musical drive or drama. Along with questionable design choices and flabby direction, the show tends to peter out rather than climax...
