Victims of their own success, some artists become so associated with a single piece of work that they struggle to disentangle themselves from it. So it is with Handspring "War Horse" Puppet Company. The company's work on the hit show means that now even its back catalogue of productions pre-dating War Horse are coloured by it for audiences. This has its advantages - I would guess that the Barbican's Silk Street Theatre is as full as the New London (home of the West End production of War Horse) this week for Handspring's 1992 piece Woyzeck on the Highveld...
