Jo Roets' tight adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac focuses right down onto the love triangle between Cyrano, Roxanne and Christian. Gone are large elements of the sword swashing and pastry play, which are retained merely as peripheral aids to character and couplet creation. And so it is to the heart of the matter, in all senses, that Gill Robertson's lingering production aims...
