French playwright David Lescot's two-hander has been influenced by President Sarkozy's drive to deport illegal immigrants. In a set-up that owes a fair amount to the film Green Card, a middle-class woman gets hitched to an Arab immigrant in a bid to allow him to stay in the country. Aware that, after a year, their marriage will be scrutinised by the authorities, the couple set aside 12 days, one a month, to learn all there is to know about one another...
