During the late seventies in Mathew Street, where the greatest band of all time found world acclaim, Eric's club took the anti-establishment angst of punk and issued forth some of greatest of its time - without Eric's, the youth of Liverpool may possibly have been pogoing to Staying Alive which is not a happy image...
