A new play by Martin Crimp, one of Britain's top writers, directed by Katie Mitchell, one of our most distinctive directors, is an eagerly anticipated event - and The City does not disappoint. At first, the play seems to be a companion piece to Crimp's 2000 piece The Country, but pretty soon it morphs into something else entirely...
