Playing the understudy for Christine in Phantom of the Opera at 16.

God there are so many it’s hard to think of one. I’ll always remember when my corset slipped down just as we were going into a blackout in Phantom - funny and nearly very embarrassing.

Julie Andrews is a massive favourite of mine.
Stage or screen?
Stage now. Screen tomorrow.

Mamma Mia! for a girls night out or a play at the Old Vic for some serious theatre.

Traditional.
Funny or straight?
I love both… straight I guess.

Jake Gyllenhaal from Brokeback Mountain.

I was asked to do it and was thrilled when it came through. It’s such a great musical role using both my acting and singing skills and I love to do both.
