What is the highlight of your career to date?

My Classical Brit nomination for my first album.

What is your lucky charm or do you have any superstitions?

While I’m performing in My Fair Lady I always have to wish my onstage dad Christopher Cazenove a “good show” before every performance.

What was your first big break?

Playing the understudy for Christine in Phantom of the Opera at 16.

Describe your funniest moment

God there are so many it’s hard to think of one. I’ll always remember when my corset slipped down just as we were going into a blackout in Phantom - funny and nearly very embarrassing.

Where did you train?

Arts Educational College in Tring and also the National Youth Music Theatre

Who has been the most inspirational person in your career?

Julie Andrews is a massive favourite of mine.

Stage or screen?

Stage now. Screen tomorrow.

What would you go and see if you were going to the theatre?

Mamma Mia! for a girls night out or a play at the Old Vic for some serious theatre.

Modern or traditional?

Traditional.

Funny or straight?

I love both… straight I guess.

Who would be your dream opposite leading man/lady?

Jake Gyllenhaal from Brokeback Mountain.

What made you choose your current role?

I was asked to do it and was thrilled when it came through. It’s such a great musical role using both my acting and singing skills and I love to do both.
