Sheila Jack

Sheila Jack, the Scottish reviewer and theatre lover, sadly passed away on 18th June whilst pursuing one of her favourite pastimes, snorkelling just off the Greek Island of Zakynthos and photographing the endangered loggerhead turtle.

Sheila was best known amongst many theatre-goers and performers UK wide for running the website One 4 Review with her partner Geoff.

Never one to miss a show, Sheila’s dedication to her love of theatre and comedy was a true inspiration to many. She taught those around her with a critical eye to simply sit back and enjoy a performance no matter how big or small and could always pass a positive message on to the artists she’d just witnessed.

Also noteworthy is her work in The Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline, where she had been a keen steward and always willing to lend a hand. Her reviews of the shows visiting the theatre were always much appreciated by the visiting companies and theatre staff.

A warm, kind, generous and truly wonderful woman who will be hugely missed by her family, friends and companions in the entertainment industry.

From now on, we all know she’ll be watching us from the best seat in the house.
