Credit checking

Published Thursday 9 February 2012 at 15:36

It is good to see Matthew Hemley highlight the general dissatisfaction there is regarding the showing of credits on TV programmes, especially dramatic ones (The Stage, February 2, page 4).

During shows, you may catch a performance by an actor but are not sure if it is the actor you thought, so want to check the end credits. You might also admire the editing or colouring and, again, want to check the name.

Give up this fad and get back to giving credit where it is due.
