Slow response summer

Published Monday 29 June 2009 at 16:50

We are delighted that, during these difficult times, members of the entertainment profession are fully employed.

On numerous occasions we have left messages for our artists to offer them work, but never get a response. It is particularly embarrassing when a client has requested a particular act, and we have to come up with a plausible explanation as to why we cannot give them a positive answer.

Is this a reversal of the quip, “Don’t call us, we’ll call you”?
