A mention for JB

Published Tuesday 23 June 2009 at 12:30

Thanks for listing the entertainment industries performers mentioned in the Queen’s Birthday Honours (June 18, front page).

Sadly, you missed out Joe Brown (of JB and his Bruvvers etc). This year Joe celebrates 50 years in the music and entertainment business and it was for this reason he received an MBE.

Both Joe and Duggie Chapman (who, as you record, also received an MBE) are members of the Grand Order of Water Rats. It would be a nice gesture if you could mention the fact of Joe’s award in your next issue of The Stage.
