Best wishes

Published Friday 22 August 2008 at 17:45

I would like to express my thanks to the great number of colleagues and friends who have visited me, many travelling hundreds of miles, and sent their good wishes to the hospital where I have been for some two months now. Unfortunately I contracted MRSA after falling and breaking my hip, so have spent much longer in intensive care than expected.

However, the theatrical profession always comes up trumps when one of their colleagues faces problems and I look forward to being home again soon.

Thanks a million.
