Prolific producer

Published Monday 2 June 2008 at 16:00

Re. Harry Landis’ ‘astonishing attack’ on producer Bill Kenwright (front page, The Stage, May 22)

In 2008 alone, Bill Kenwright is producing 20 shows on tour and in the West End. For years he has been the UK’s most prolific play producer. He takes huge risks, keeps the shows running, creates many opportunities employing hundreds of Equity members - many of whom return to work for him again and again. Bill Kenwright is a huge asset to our industry. I am proud to work with him.
