TV talent

Summer Strallen really should be applauded for getting the lead role in a major West End musical from appearing in a TV show for which she was actually paid.

Let’s hope this practice continues and she is the first of many to make the transition. Programmes of the likes of Soapstar Superstar and Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes should have opened the doors for good, trained artists - who can consistently deliver the goods eight shows a week - a long time ago.
