Tuning out
With reference to the letter headed Desperate Measures (March 28, pages 8-9), I would like to add my pet hate.
When programme producers find an appropriate piece of music to end on, why does it have to be drowned out with: “And coming up next?”
Needless to say, my finger is straight on to the off button.
