It’s amazing what people will steal. News emerged earlier this month that a gigantic remote-controlled dinosaur had gone missing from the touring show of Walking with Dinosaurs.

The production, which visited the O2 Arena earlier this year, was in Guadalajara Mexico at the time that the 1.5 metre tall robot - actually one of the smaller models - went walkabout.

According to a spokesman for the show they have no idea how the dinosaur, which is worth more than £50,000, went missing and the show has carried on as usual since.

One thing is for certain though - somewhere in Mexico one child is getting the best Christmas present ever.
