Chit chat: Tongue-tied

Published Tuesday 20 October 2009 at 12:40 by Tabard

Meanwhile, we’ve stumbled over the most bizarre competition to win tickets to a West End play. It’s for Speaking in Tongues and is being run on Facebook.

It asks entrants to write a review of the play and the best reviews will win tickets. This means, in essence, that to win tickets to the play you have to buy tickets to the play. Odd.

Maybe with a West End musical where you get repeat audiences but, really, with a play?

Still, if it appeals, go to www.facebook.com/speakingintonguestheplay
