Chit chat: Space wars

Published Tuesday 18 August 2009 at 10:40 by Tabard

Tabard hears that a cyberspace battle has broken out between the respective teams working on The Stage and Guardian’s Edinburgh podcasts.

Twitter - the internet social networking site - has been the battleground, since one user posted a comment saying: “The Guardian vs The Stage Edinburgh Fringe podcasts. The Stage’s wins hands down, I’m afraid.”

Never one to miss a chance to gloat, The Stage’s team forwarded the message on, only for their Grauniad counterparts to respond: “This means podcast war! We won’t go down without a fight.”

The friendly rivalry continued this week, with the Guardian declaring: “Today’s podcast feat. David O’Doherty, Sarah Millican + Pippa Evans (take that The Stage).”

Very mature.

Tabard’s completely unbiased view is that The Stage’s podcast is at least a million zillion gazillion times better than the Guardian’s.

And our dads could have their dads, as well. So, there.
