Chit chat - Don’t forget the elephants

While La Clique offers much of the old-school glamour that audiences might have enjoyed at the Hippodrome back in the day, there is one thing that is sadly missing. Elephants.

We stumbled across this rather fabulous drawing of the mechanism by which said proboscideans would slide into the water pool as part of the large-scale spectaculars that the venue used to host.
