Lauding the licence

Hear, hear, Maggie Brown (Media View, April 15, page 20). I for one should willingly pay the licence fee just so as not to have to sit through all those ghastly ads on the commercial channels.

I should also willingly pay the licence fee for - an advert free - Radio 5 alone.
