Meanwhile someone else seems to be a little confused as well. Never Forget, the long-rumoured Take That musical, has finally got off the ground and confirmed that it will be launching a UK tour this summer prior to a planned stint in the West End.

But wait, what is this? Take That are said to be distancing themselves from the project, releasing a statement saying that “The band would like to state categorically that this production is being undertaken with neither their involvement nor their endorsement. They would wish the fans and the general public to know that this production is absolutely 100% nothing to do with Take That.”
Well, the show’s producers are claiming they have the rights to a number of Take That’s songs, so, that being the case, it obviously does have something to do with the band, as it features parts of the boys’ back catalogue.
The bottom line is that the rights to the songs have either been sold to the producers, or not. If they haven’t, then the musical couldn’t go ahead, which it apparently is, and if they have, Tabard fails to understand what the boy band has to complain about.
An interesting side note - Gary Barlow has actually worked with said producer - Tristan Baker - before. It was on the show Love Shack for which Barlow penned a song entitled Sometimes Never Always.
