Putting training in motion

Published Monday 25 January 2010 at 16:55

Comprehensive technical training workshops covering the Kinesys automation system are being staged on March 1-2 at the Blackburn premises of UK lighting rental company HSL.

The training, which is open to all interested parties, has been designed to work as a one or two-day course to suit all levels of interest. Day one will be a general technical training day, incorporating an overview of the basic Kinesys system, including the conversion of hoists to vari-speed, the use of the Kinesys Elevation 1+ and Elevation 24 hoist controllers, and Kinesys’ range of power distribution units. Day two will be dedicated to the philosophies and working of the Kinesys Vector control software, complete with practical sessions allowing attendees to get hands-on experience with the controllers in HSL’s large demonstration area.

Kinesys will tutor the workshops, with attendees working on four systems set up at HSL. Places will be limited to 12 per day. Full details, including times and costs at www.kinesys.co.uk.
