Charitable light

Lighting supplier, White Light, recently supported One More Time, a theatrical gala held at the Piccadilly Theatre in aid of Future Dreams and breast cancer charity Breakthrough, the former being founded by performing arts teacher Danielle Leslie and mother, Sylvie Henry in 2008 when both were diagnosed with breast cancer. The first One Night Only concert at the Savoy Theatre raised over £300,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the follow-up 2009 concert being launched after Sylvie lost her life to the disease. This year’s event raised more than £400,000 for the charity. White Light provided Oliver Matthews, the show’s lighting designer, with additional lighting equipment to complement the lighting rig for Grease, also supplied by White Light. The equipment supplied included the versatile JBLED A7 moving LED zoom washlights.
