ADLIB is supplying lighting, audio equipment and crew for the current Dragonforce UK tour.

The band comes complete with a powerful light show designed by Stuart Gray and ‘metallic sonic experience’ mixed by Bruce Reiter. ADLIB is supplying a Nexo Alpha system, with the standard configuration being 18 M3 mid high boxes, 12 B1 bass cabinets and 10 S2 subs. Playing a variety of venues, they’re flying where possible and ground stacking the rest of the time. For general infills, they are using four ADLIB AA122s, Nexo’s NX242 processors are being used across all the Nexo elements, feeding Camco Tecton amplifiers. The system is time aligned each day by ADLIB’s systems engineer Richy Nicholson using EAW’s SMAART analysis software. Dave Davies mixes the monitors, all six of them using Sennheiser G2 stereo IEMs, which keeps the stage clean according to ADLIB. As for the lighting, the design is based on three 40ft trusses and a collection of fixtures on the deck, which move day-to-day according to the venue, and how the stage set risers and ramps have to be moved to fit the available space. Gray operates the show using an Avolites Pearl Expert console.
