PLASA Events, the organisers of the PLASA Show at Earls Court in London in September has announced the official launch of the 2008 PLASA Awards for Innovation.

This year’s awards features some enhancements plus the 2008 Gottelier Award which recognises the contribution of an outstanding individual to product development.

Last year’s judges expressed a wish to be able to more accurately reflect the levels of innovation seen in products nominated. As a result, PLASA 2008 sees the introduction of Gold and Silver Awards for Innovation.

An online nomination form can be found now at the PLASA Show website. A shortlist of leading nominees will also be open to an online, industry-wide vote in the run-up to the show, which runs from September 7-10. The winner will be announced at the PLASA awards presentation ceremony on September 8 at Earls Court.
