Learning with structure

Czech Republic-based trussing manufacturer, MILOS, staged a two-day international technical workshop to highlight key products, services and its facility near Prague.

Attended by some 50 people from across Europe, including the UK, the event included a demonstration of building the new MILOS MR5 Roof system, specially designed to cater for indoor and outdoor events needing substantial stages. A team from hoist manufacturers Columbus McKinnon in the US also presented a seminar on CM Lodestar Motors, while from Germany, Reputable Static Engineer’s office led a session discussing safe rigging practices, trussing and statistics.

The workshop was planned and organised by MILOS’ Vladimir Hasman, sales manager for MILOS in the Czech Republic, and Glen Brown, MILOS UK’s sales and marketing director.
