An Outback adventure

Published Monday 14 April 2008 at 18:05

UK rigging specialist, Outback, has purchased a Kinesys automation system for its hire stock.

The system consists of eight Kinesys Elevation 1+ control units and Kinesys’ proprietary Vector motion control software, an Array PD-ES power distribution system and Rigger 8 Remote handset controller.

“The Kinesys system plays an integral part of the future of rigging and motion control in the entertainment industry,” says Conrad Ryan, Outback’s operations manager. “The soft start stop ramp feature is also useful when raising and lowering very heavy loads.”

Three key Outback technicians have had full training and show experience on the system.
