The Emprise strikes back

Published Monday 14 April 2008 at 17:50

The National Theatre has signed a deal with Emprise Services, an independent support services provider, to deliver a full front and back of house cleaning service to its three theatres.

The contract will involve approximately 40 staff who will clean the theatres’ various restaurants, exhibition areas and a bookshop. It will also include the cleaning of an armoury, wig, costume-makers and scenery workshops.

“It’s crucial for us to ensure that the theatre is a welcoming place for visitors and staff,” said Patrick Harrison at the National Theatre.
