AC Lighting’s Special Projects division has supplied and installed the lighting system for Amersham and Wycombe College’s newly-opened Motion Capture and Green Screen Studio, part of its nationally accredited Centre of Vocational Excellence in Digital Arts, Design and Media.

The studio will be used to teach the College’s National Diploma in eMedia course and new Foundation Degree in Post-Production and Special Effects. The new facility features a green screen for chromakey work, especially for the combination of live-action film making, with virtual reality, digitally produced characters and environments. AC Special Projects states that it worked closely with Mike Forshaw, the College’s media technician, recommending a solution with low infrastructure and running costs.
