This is physical comedy at its best. It is the spirit of Spike Milligan and the Marx Brothers and the Goons. This is sillyness. If someone wants a definition of true British comedy this is it (but obviously with the Marx Brothers as well).

It is a return to the Fringe for Cooped, which won a Total Theatre Award there in 2000. Set in a Scooby Doo-type mansion, young Margot Wotherspoon comes to work for dashing Forbes Murston. What is her secret? What is his secret? And what do her secret and his secret have in common that is such a secret?

At the company’s core are Aitor Basauri, Petra Massey and Toby Park - brilliant comedy writers and performers who should be household names. Their understanding of comedy, of that mix between the deadpan and the absurd, runs through the piece to create a show that the audience never wants to end.

Cal McCrystal, writer and director, brings a classic farce feel that gives the piece authenticity.
