Lucy Bailey steps down as artistic director of the Print Room

Lucy Bailey, co-founder and artistic director of the Print Room, is leaving the venue.

Anda Winters, who founded the Notting Hill theatre with Bailey, will continue as sole artistic director.

A statement issued by the venue reads: “The Print Room will continue with an eclectic and exciting programme of drama, dance, music and visual arts. The Print Room and its board of directors warmly acknowledge and gratefully thank Lucy Bailey for her commitment, hard work and superb productions which have in no small measure put the Print Room on the map and wish her all the best for the future.”

Bailey launched the theatre in 2010 with Winters. She directed the first play to be staged there, which was Fabrication, by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
